Soft close hinges no longer "soft"
About 10 years ago i had a new kitchen installed which included Hedditch soft close hinges. Now first one and now another door is no longer "soft". In fact they close with an old fashioned bang!
My questions...
Are they "dead" or can they be adjusted somehow?
If they are "dead" and need replacing, will the current model of hinge fit into the inset that the old hinge comes out of?
Are all the hinges on each door the "self closing" kind? I have looked at them as closely as i can and cannot see any difference between the sets on each door. If they are all the same, do i need to replace every hinge on each faulty door?
Thanks in advance
