    Default Speedy tails...

First there was the 3:00 minute dovetail video and now there's the 3:40 minute dovetails
Ten seconds makes all the difference!

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

    Steel dovetails are even quicker.

    Bang! Bang! Bang! 3 seconds, 3 t-nails...

(I like Klaus's attitude: "If it doesn't fit, don't force it, just get a bigger hammer." )
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

I like Klause's method, two bits of wood and one saw, it is just so simple. The man is the epitome of skill and confidence bought about by training and many years of practise. The first time I saw him cut dovetails I was stunned with the ease of it all. Doug Stowe uses a felt pen and a tape measure to produce the nicest boxes with similar ease. We all aspire to this sort of skill but not many achieve it, least of all me.

Awesome. How aggressive is Frank's saw?!. I watched a much younger Frank Klaus do dovetails in on of those Taunton videos. He made about 6 passes with the saw for each cut. Here it's three.

I guess it means that he only has to get three cuts straight.
