    Question Ssc h5

    Hi all,

    First time poster here.

I purchased a SSC H5 panel saw about a year ago second hand. It is exactly what I need and has been working well. Today, the saw itself died. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Do I have to get a new saw from the manufacturer or can I simply modify another corded circular saw and install it? I don't mind getting one from the manufacturer, I just thought I'd suss out my options first.

    Thank you

    Nicky

have you considered pulling it apart to see what has died?
could it be just brushes or something?
a repair service could fix something like that pretty easily,.

I agree, get it repaired. I suspect a replacement saw may cost more than what you paid for the whole thing
Those were the droids I was looking for.
