    Default Sticky table

I have a dining table made from old baltic boards. It has a golden stain on it and then a laquered finish. After 15 years good use, the finish has become sticky to touch and difficult to clean. I suspect years of cleaning sprays have affected it. Is it necessary to sand the whole table back?

    Try Neil's

HOW DO I KNOW I NEED TO USE A POLISH REVIVER?

Lightly scratch the surface of the furniture with your fingernail:

    • If it removes some wax. You need it!
    • If the surface feels sticky or rubbery. You need it!
    • If the surface is water marked, or white rings. You need it!
    • If the surface is dull, dry, faded or is scratched. You need it!

    More information here.

Good advice. Sounds like that is what it needs.
