Default Stillage convert to storage shed?

I have 4 of these large stillages, each measure 2.3m high x 1.3m wide x 1m deep, I reckon they weigh 100-120kg each

I am wondering if anyone has converted stillage into a weather tight storage? all I need is 3 walls + door + a roof, right?

Is there any other ways that is quicker or cheaper to make them weather tight?

If you're not particularly after 'pretty,' it wouldn't take long to wrap them in corrugated iron. Snips, a drill and a rivet gun'd be all that's needed. Possibly dock part of the tops off the back two legs to give the roof some fall and bolt a couple of joists on to give you something fix the corro to.

The fiddly and most costly part would be the doors. Can you weld up a quick door frame & hinges and clad that too?
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Yes, you could absolutely do as Skew suggests. However if they do weigh in at 100kgs plus I would probably salvage the steel for some other purpose as it must be very heavy gauge metal. You may have over estimated the weight because they are bulky and awkward. A lot depends on exactly how desperate you are for storage.

Much depends on your metal working skills too with a particular emphasis on welding. I could see an application for storing timber on racks. Used as is they would only need to be bolted together and clad with corrugated or trimdeck walls and roof. You could probably buy a door from a demolition yard if you wished. Maybe get the cladding from the demolition yard too. In Toowoomba near where we live there is such a place that has brand new shorts and offcuts that would be ideal for such a project: Not too handy for you though.
