Saw storage
I would like to get some ideas on storing my sliding compound mitre saw.
These things are rather large in all 3 dimensions, X, Y and Z. At the moment, mine just sits on the shed floor getting in the way and it's really annoying me.
How do you store yours ?

I built this mainly from stuff picked up from nature strips, information in the text as well as pictures.
Today I used my SCMS heavily, with barely a drop of sawdust anywhere. I was cutting 200mm x 50mm treated H4 pine retaining wall sleepers and at one point I looked up and watched the jet of sawdust coming out of the blue hose(much shorter now) hitting the back wall then dropping straight into the big gulp and then via the Oneida cyclone into my home built dust system; wonderful feeling.
With it being on wheels I move it into place, lock the wheels, place a stand at either end then place a 3 metre piece of timber and just cut away; possibly the best single thing I've done. The saw is always ready for action, an Aldi $10.00 foot switch allows me to control the vacuum system on and off, then I'm away.
