Hi all
Does anyone know of any stores that will sell mobile bases that are open on a sunday in brisbane?
Setting up new table saw now but forgot to get the mobile base earlier on.
Cheers

Bunnings or Total Tools sell castor wheels as well as dollys/bases - which depending on the weight you might need (ie if you need something very tough).

I'm with you guys: I buy these babies from bunnings: Move It 75mm PVC Castor Pack | Bunnings Warehouse $11 for 4 castors, (2 lockable), and they warn you that the load rating is 160kg, but I've got my cast iron jointer on one set on 18mm ply sheet, and they support all my worktables etc... Cannot be beat for the workshop at the price.

Jpdv, are the wheels on yours with respect to flat spots?
I find that with any poly wheels, the castor is fine with high loads, but the wheel deforms when left standing for a while, which makes moving it a nuisance.
I now over spec my wheels by double and don't appear to have that issue any more.

They've not given me that problem yet mate: i have them under two 6ft long benches, a 2400 by 1200 table, a router table and my jointer... At the price, they're gold. And rather nicely, they're exactly 100mm high, so planning cabinet/leg design is a doddle. Been using them for 3 years, and its got to the stage where I buy a pack whenever I see them in Bunnings: I've got about 5 spare sets in the shed.... They are quite 'hard', and have given me no movement problems to date.
(Edit - and I've just re-read - if by poly you mean that transparent semi-hard plastic stuff, these aren't - they have a sort of grey rubbery plastic wheel - PVC of some sort, I guess.)
