    Default Study Desk

Due to health reasons I have not produced anything of note in the last 18 months. Here is what I have come up with to blow out the cobwebs. Great to be back in the workshop!

looks like you have not lost your touch , lovely piece , wasn't sure about the white draw bottoms, but it means not looking into a dark space,

I built this for a friend , not long ago, we're both ham radio operators, and he badly needed a new radio/work area, not anywhere as fine as yours, but for me quiet good.

Don't have Pic's of finished, but the mate loves it, though he struggles to keep it tidy.

    Hi metester
That's a nice way to make a return. Can you tell me what sort of timber you used and how you finished it please?

Simple Tassie Oak. I stained it using Feast Watson Teak Prooftint and then applied 2 coats of Feast Watson Satinproof. Both were applied with a wad of folded, clean cloth. Avoids brush marks and aids an even coat application.

Nothing like building something that gets used and appreciated. Nice one!
