Stumbled Over This
Woodworking Large Extremely DANGEROUS || HORROR Woodturning || Skills Working With Giant Wood Lathe - YouTube
I think that I want one, but have absolutely no idea what one would do with it. What is it?
Also, any idea of the finish? He sprays it on, then hoses it off!

Scary
If that log came adrift, guess which direction it would be headed

I like how he grinds the HSS on the side of a full speed grinder wheel.

Thanks, interesting video on larger turning in the real world.
His tool rest doesn’t even have a flat top edge.
His use of scrapers mirrors how I was taught as a patternmaker in the 60s.
The cuttings blade on the angle grinder is diabolical.
Sanding drum on grinder interesting.
What timber was he turning?
