Super Heavy Duty Drawer Slides
Hi Folks,
I've currently got a job in hand to build an extension table. I'm using super heavy duty full extension side mount slides (240kg) as per the technique illustrated in FWW No. 182 Feb 2006.
If you source these from the three big European guys you will be paying around $500 for the pair. Try Heavy Duty Drawer Slides Australia New Zealand for a pleasant surprise. $245 delivered to Hobart!
Three day delivery ex Qld. Top quality product.
I have no connection at all, other than as a customer, with the seller.
Cheers Old Pete

Thanks Pete! I could have used some today for a set of drawers, but I then realised that the crappy chipboard drawers would be worth far less than the sliders!
I've always wanted to visit Hobart, and one day in the next few years I want to move to Tassie... You're a lucky bloke )

Super heavy duty drawer slides
Hi Johnredl,
Quality looks just great. I feel a bit bad about purchasing a product that has probably been plagarised from the costly R & D work, promotion, support and cataloging done by others but the price differential is enormous and you would have to question that. I since found out from an friend that the slide I bought is much favored by the trailer camper manufacturers who use it in their construction for pull out kitchen stove units, heavy drawers, water container set ups and the like. That's a pretty challenging application specially when you add red dust to the equation compared to an extension table where they might put the slide to work 3 or 4 times a year in the family room environment!
Cheers Old Pete
