Who supplies riveroak bows ?
Like this....
for bow back (or round back) windsor chairs. Made to order, as they have to fit dimensions I specify. They also have to bend 3 dimensionally (similar to bentwood chair backs)....and in local riveroak.
Apparently these can be bought in. Apparently I buy them in, as clearly I couldn't possibly be able to do it.
Which highly professional joinerys/cabinetmakers in the area do this. Preferably someone local as it would save me even more in transport costs.
I seriously want to know as I would imagine it would save me a lot of time and frustration if I was to buy them in.

Okay, maybe I'm not understanding something here but chair bows are steam bent, now;
Steam bending is not hard, I imagine your river oak will bend as easily as our European oak and ash. But...
... It's bespoke to the task, you need a former to bend it around to suit the job, so I can't see them being made as a general 'for sale' item.
Look up steam bending, a fairly simple rig will enable you to have a go and make them to the size of your chair seat.Dragonfly

You are being facetious aren't you Tripper? Did you have a customer doubt you? Modern young people thing everything must be made in that mythical place "somewhere". Usually China.
