Did you see the price? Wait until the stone version comes out.
The stone one might be made by Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble.

Jaysus! They must be bloody joking! Who is going to pay the best part of $1100 for a (very nice) timber keyboard, when all the other stuff around it is plastic anyway? The woodworker who has every thing? Fine, except he ain't be born yet! Be interesting to know what the sales figures are.

Did you read the shight blurb? Fer cryin' out loud - I believe it's the worst trowelling on I've ever read! They think that will convince someone to buy it?

I do not think they need to convince anyone to purchase this as they should be able to sell themselves.

Imagine this you are an executive in a company and you want to seperate yourself from the others. This is what you get or this is what you purchase for the chairman or someone that has everything.

It is unique and that is why people will buy it.

Just like a stamp collector or coin collector or dare I say pen collector.

I hope I am not the only person that sees the value of this product.
Personally I would not want one as.I seem to break most keyboards through continue use.

Hardly unique if one bloke is making one a day However, I can see the attraction to a certain type of mind and wallet.

That's dead right Christos (re selling themselves. I think that they're only trivialising and cheapening an obviously tactile product. Anyone who has money to burn wouldn't take notice (I hope) of that blurb anyway.

For the chairman who has everything? Bet he hasn't got a table saw or a set of Liogier rasps!

One of the amazing things about this site is we get a chance to see some amazing creations, not just in wood but also in metal. This is the creative mind, personally I do not have it or I am not able to access it.

The sort of people that would buy these is also very unlikely to use it, it would maybe just sit on a $50,000 table next to a 64" screen and look cool. The only person that would actually touch it would be the cleaners.

Good luck to him/her I reckon.

I think they're fantastic. The flow of the grain looks great although the timber looks a bit open grained to cleaned easily. The price is pretty exy for something made with a CNC router.

Since my computer is so old it has a grease nipple in the side, the fancy keyboard probably wouldn't suit.

I'm tipping that the master craftsmen is a CNC router.what are they, $5k at carbatec and you've paid it off once you've sold 5. the only problem, selling the 5.to be honest though, it does look pretty nice!

Didn't some one post some computer cases made of wood? About a year ago or so, that would be a match made in the shed.
