    Thumbs up I was Surprised!

I ordered 10 veneer press screws from McJing Tools, thinking I'll use them for all sorts of things.... jigs, veneering, height adjuster on a router table (maybe).

Then I thought, well for $10.00 EACH, they will be absolute crap quality.

They arrived (as promised) within 2 days & I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the product

See for yourself...... as the picture on their web site is less than flattering.

    Cheers

    Wow!

Thanks Major! I saw them and thought I'd get a couple myself, (router lifter maybe?) and of course there's the little end vice on the bench on a bench featured on the latest FWW... (I still haven't made up my mind whether to get that twin screw jobbie...)

I guess McJing's 'll be out of stock after this post eh?

    Just did it.

Thanks for letting us know Major. I saw them in the Lee Valley catadog and they were too expensive and too heavy to buy from Canada. $10 each is a very good price.

    Thanks again.

5 clamps arrived 4 hours after I placed the order. Look pretty good and has “SHOPFOX” written on it. Hmmm…

I am going to use them for router table and make some Panel clamps.

I tried to order five as well.

I was about to key in my details on the website when I noticed it wasn't a secure server    .

NO, I don't think so!! I'll phone them then... at 4.15 on a Friday, no one was home , then I remembered in NSW everyone knocks off an hour earlier in summer.

Now I get to find out if they are open on Saturday!

    Cheers,

    P

What are the threads like, are they smooth to operate?

    Hi Major,

I bought a couple from McJing at Melbourne FWW show in october last year. Found them to be really good quality. Only problem is - I paid $12-00 . Oh well - can't win 'em all. I think I'll get a few more now though!

    All the best,

    Chris

He only had about 10 left after my order, time to extract digits if you want a couple.
