As I said before, progress is being made transending Fore doors from a 1912 Model T Touring car to a 1912 Model T Town Car. Today I hung and swung the passenger door, Tomorrow the driver's side. (could have done both today but the heat and humidity got the better of me so I reverted to the shade tree and some needed yard work laying landscaping bricks.

Original door was nailed together panels (which worked wonders on my bandsaw blade. I secured my frame witrh dowels and Polyurethane glue

The original filler between the door and firewall had to be reduced as well and all the frame wood was replaced with White Oak rather than the 95 yearold super dry Ash original

Problem with sanding White Oak, it smells like Bourbon Barrels and that stimulates a desire to quinch my thirst. Really makes for a long work day..... 95 degrees and equal humidity and summer hasn't started yet.

I should add, I replaced the two hinge pins with one continuous pin so there woud be correct allignment, they will be replaced later.
