A good table saw blade for flat bottom rebates?
Can anyone recommend a supplier of a good blade for a flat bottom slot? I cut slots for small drawer bottoms that need a piece of 3mm thick plywood and also use my table saw for miter inserts. I know I need a triple cut blade with alternating top bevels and a third raker for the flat bottom cut. Problem is most I look at have the third raker set slightly lower so they don't reach fully into the slot resulting in a slight bow tie kinda shape in the bottom. Hope this makes sense.
I think I had a Triton blade at one stage that worked well but can't find it. I recently wasted over $100 on a new combination saw blade from Amana and had it sent from the USA but then realised the third raker was set a little lower, most of them seem to be. Should I just have a sharpener regrind the alternate top bevelled edges to meet up with the height of the raker or should I look at getting a whole new blade? What would be cheaper? I still have the packet from the Triton blade but the blade in it is not triple cut despite it saying that it is on the packet. I think I got it for a reduced price at the Hills sale years ago and perhaps it was reduced because it was in the wrong packet. Now I can't find a supplier of this exact Triton blade.

The Infinity combo blades produce a perfect flat-bottomed cut - I use one for exactly the purpose you describe.
Problem is the local distributor in Oz has gone bung....but the good news is that Infinity will now sell direct from the USA.
Something like this is what you want:
10" Combination Saw Blade 50T, 5/8" Arbor .125" Kerf-Carbide Router Bits | Router Bit Sets | Shaper Cutters | Saw Blades | Planer Knives | Jointer Knives | Infinity Cutting Tools
They also do some thicker kerf flat bottom blades:
Flat Bottom Crosscutting Saw Blades | Saw Blades & Packages
All the Infinity blades I have were cheaper than the equivalent Freud, and perform much better IMHO. Freight from the USA is reasonable, but order a couple of different blades and the total cost is comparable to local suppliers of premium blades.

I've got a Freud 24 tooth rip blade that has a flat tooth grind. Cuts perfect flat bottomed grooves and slots.

Dado Blade
I've heard of people using dado blades to get a flat bottom cut. Sometimes the chippers in the middle don't, but the outside blades are always ground flat. For occasional use they will work just fine.
