Under Table Joinery
I have an order to make a Cypress topped table and ( being a bush carpenter ) need some help and advice re the sub-frame joinery.
Will attach a sketch of my plan and would like advice on the following,
1. Joining the sub-frame ends. Usually use 8mm dowel when directly to straight legs.
2. Joining crossed legs to sub-frame.
3. Joining crossed legs in the centre.
Anticipate using 70 X 35 ( sub-frame ) and 90 X 35 ( legs ) structural untreated MGP 10.
Have a dropsaw, bandsaw , router and some basic hand tools only. Nothing too fancy here.
Any advice and suggestions re the joining and best materials to use would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Fred

I would use half lap joints and coach bolts, or screws from the inside, and some glue.

Thank you double.d , that sounds like something that is not too complicated and I can do.
