Table Leg Brackets
Howdy All,
Firstly looks like a great forum so looking forward to some good info from you guys out there.
Secondly, got a question for you all ...
I am looking for metal table brackets that are used to to hold the leg to the table apron. I have found some at Hafele but it seems rather small. The "cross bracket" part of it is only 30 mm long and as I am joining legs to 100mm square legs I am looking for something a little longer.
Anyone got any ideas where I can find some ?
( hope this makes sense ! )
Thanks
steve

Bunnings normally stock them - alternatively do a search on www.yellowpages.com.au for "cabinet makers supplies" in your area. That will give you a few places to try.

You could also get some mail order from Timbecon for $2.50 each +p.p. Here is a link http://www.timbecon.com.au/productsd...7&prodid=26807
I don't know what they are like but they say they are 102mm long and suit a 60mm minimum rail.

Table Leg Brackets
G'Day Sawdust. I have similar problems sourcing the right, or the best, fittings for some projects. I have found that there are a multitude of suppliers in the USA that stock items we do not find here in Oz. The problem is always the cost of freight, however orders for a number of items will reduce the freight cost to a more reasonable one, and it gets delivered to your door! Google what you are looking for and search all sites. Rockler is a good one for tools and bits and pieces.
