Default table top fastener Z clips

    Does anybody use these:
    https://www.carbatec.com.au/table-to...mps-pack-of-50

I was told by someone at carbatec that even though its on their website they no longer sell these lol

He told me to look on the McJing website but I cant find it there

Or am I better off making my own with some plywood? TBH I cant really be bothered but I saw on a youtube video someone saying these Z clips arent that strong and you generally need to use quite a few of them.

Forum sponsor Screw-it sell them too, $9.55 for forty. Search under “table top fasteners”.

There are also figure 8 types available too.

Z clips work, and they are so cheap using a few doesn't really break the bank anyway. Downside is they don't look very nice but depending on the application they work perfectly fine.

My work bench top is secured to the base with Z clips and weighs approx 80kg (not super heavy but solid enough) and i can lift the bench using a hoist in the middle without any concerns of the z clips breaking away. I used 6 clips to secure the top.
