Default Tablesaw cut and glue question

Just bought a new carbitool 72 tooth blade and am wondering if it will cut fine enough to edge glue 2 x 200x400x50mm hardwood boards.

I usually set up a jointing type jig [no room for a jointer here] and run the router over the edges to true up and smooth down the edges before glueing and clamping. I was hoping perhaps to leave out this tedious part of the process of edge glueing boards.

Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.
