    Default Tablesaw work station WIP

    G'day all,

Just thought I'd share some work in progress pics of a tablesaw station I'm building for my Makita MLT100.
Last year I built a small cabinet and a biesemeyer fence clone but it was too flimsy and not stable enough on the long end of it.
Anyhow I've decided I need a new cabinet that is durable, adds a bit of storage and makes the most of the fence I built last year.

I'll post more pics as I make more progress

    Geoff

    Hi Geoff

Love it. Looking forward to watching this thread. Can you help me understand the aluminium edging? Looks great and no doubt will protect the edges, but won't this provide a lip for material to catch on? Or have you routed a rebate into the top?

    Hi Danny,

Yeah mate I've routed in the angle.... just this arvo actually. I've used melamine and the stuff bloody chips that easy that I decided to put the extra bit of effort in and put the aluminium on the edges.

    Hey all,

Done a little more to the table saw work center, so thought I'd post some more pics.

I have attached the aluminum edging to all edges and attached the biesemeyer fence clone that I made last year. I need to make a dust compartment to got under the actual saw - also a few other drawers etc then she'll be done.

I think I can take better pics during the day but i'll post the couple I took tonight and get some more on here tomorrow.
