Tasmania Help
Hi all,
My name is Luke Doerner and I have joined this forum looking for some help with an important project. I play hockey for Australia and I am a specialist corner flicker ( which may not mean a lot to most of you ) anyway there is going to be some new rules introduced regarding the specifications of sticks. I am getting some blank wooden sticks made in Pakistan at the moment and I need someone based in Hobart to help me adjust and shape the sticks according to the new specifications and some ideas I have. I am willing to pay someone to help with the project, once the stick is finished I will be able to get a mould made and then have some composite sticks made up which I can use in the Olympics. So if anyone is interested in helping me out or can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Luke

Interesting
Pity I'm not in Tassie - but then I'm a rank amateur at what you want but I'm a stickbeak so am real curios to see the development.
My son plays Hockey - U15s so I'm a chauffeur and am slowly learning the rules of the game so yes I at least know what a corner flicker does
good luck with the stick making
This link to the "Australian School of fine furniture" There might be someone there whom can give you a lead or two
Good luck in the Olympics
BTW your Father's name isn't Max is it?regards

Hi Luke,
I reckon I could help. I am in Hobart, and I have a fairly well equipped workshop, and I do some unusual things. I am a forum member, but not all that active in recent times.
Send me an email at [email protected]
Cheers!
