THANKS to the members of this great forum!
Two years ago I joined this forum.
Since that time my skills and the fruit of my shop have improved remarkably, thanks to the input of many forum members.
I have been cured of my evil wood movement sins ... my shed now has effective dust extraction (used to be a disgusting dust bowl) ... I have commenced making cabriole legs ... I have introduced dado, mortice and tenon and sliding dovetails joints (and much else) to my skill set ... I have discovered the small miracle of a variety of sleds for the table saw, thicky, drum sander and spindle moulder ... I have commenced veneering, and am loving the result ... and I have received so many tips, ideas and general guidance that to list them all here would be impossible.
Joining this forum transformed me, my shop and the furniture that comes out of it.
Thanks to The Benevolent Dictator who birthed the forum, and
Thanks to everyone who contributed!

I second those comments. The forum has been a great resource to me while setting up my workshop and the help I have received when I have posted a question has been outstanding and not the least from John.
Thanks everyone!

I whole hearty agree. This forum has kept me informed of a vast variety of information. I am not aware of any other source of information that is as dynamic as this forum. The medium we use wood, metal, plastic, leather, synthetic and many more.
Every one can contribute no matter how insignificant it may be perceived all of it is useful. It leads to discussion the fundamental need in human life. Talking to someone.
I hope this is not coming across as preaching.
