    Default Thin cork sheeting

Trying to source some cork sheeting say 1mm or 2 mm thick.
    Any suggestions?

I tried a while ago. Best I could get was like .1 mm at a craft shop (thin stuff). The other I found was 5mm thick and 9 inches diam pieces they sell as pot stands.

Try musical instrument repairs, especially woodwinds. Just off the top of my head, try the Votaw Tool Company website in the USA. They are easy to deal with, but better with a large order because of postage costs.

Try Blackwood's, I used to work for a company that sourced most of its tools and consumables from them, we used to have 3mm and 6mm cork sheets for gasket making. maybe they have thinner stuff as well.

Just checked, they have 1.5mm sheets, you will have to contact them for a price.

Not sure what you are building or whether sheeting is required - if not cork tiles are a possibility - they come in a variety of thicknesses.

A few years ago, I bought some sheets of cork from a firm called Embeltons.
Not sure if they are still in existence or have branches in other states.

Thanks everyone. I tried Blackwoods but their cork sheets were too expensive for the project. I managed to get .8mm sheets 900mm x 600mm for $3 per sheet made in Portugal from a Brisbane business--Westfloors, Bardon.
