WOW...
That really looks great. And after looking at all of your pics, you set the standard for workmanship too.
I grabbed some sheets of tiger myrtle veneer at the Melb wood show a couple of years ago. At the time i didnt know what they were other than they looked interesting.
You've given me some inspiration to get them out and use them. Not sure in what though.

I suppose I should share how I glued the veneers. This is a jig I made for veneering and laminating. It is pretty self-explanatory really. This jig is capable of gluing veneers up to 60cm wide by 100cm long. With 3 k-body clamps per frame it produces enormous pressure evenly.
