    Default Anyone need some timber jointed in Canberra?

    Hi All

    I have a new jet 6" jointer and I want to practice jointing some wood. So if anyone has some scrap wood that can be jointed - I want to give it a go.

    Keep in mind I have said scrap as I may stuff it up and you may end up with smaller finished stock than what was expected.

    Face jointing seems ok so far, but it is edge jointing that I need to work on

    I'm in Queanbeyan BTW

    Hi John, Hows it going?

    Are you still mucking around the CNC machine? If so, can you rout some words in a piece of timber for me?

    Something like a name and number on the tailgate of a ute?

    Hi Mick,

    Yep, still playing (learning) with CNC. My router table is only 430mm x 300mm, so it's more number plate size than tailgate size. But if you want to drop around Friday arvo you can have a look as see if we can figure something out.
