Timber Rack
Here are two pictures of my latest project -- timber storage racks. They are not done as I still have to complete the two upper shelves. The legs are made from 50x50x4mm RHS, the cross supports from 50x50x5mm angle, and the bracing from 6mm strap. It is screwed to the upper beam of my garage and dynabolted into the brickwork. Solid as a rock. Suffice to say that it is no longer possible to open the tilt-a-door!
It is 3500 long, 900 deep, and 1600 high to the mid section, and then on up to 2400 for the top two shelves. Thanks to previous posters for your ideas.
I drilled all the holes and painted it up myself and it now has a fair bit of timber sitting in it.

Nice woodstorage there!
Any chance of a photo showing your strong wood racks not bowing
You, however, can take a bow whenever you like
Cheers

Yeah, I got lucky. Most of it is silky oak which I got cheap. The church I go to acquired some land for a new building and it had a few good silky oaks which were felled during development. I got in on it from the beginning... it is now over two years old and seems to be dry. The problem now is getting time to build something ...

or use blue plastic ones, just make sure to check out what the contents were and if they are or can be cleaned thoroughly.
