Working Space
Hi All,
I Have absolutley no idea if this is the right section of the forum to begin my search but I am an extreme newby into world or woodworking and while I am gathering tools begin some projects I am also in the need of some space to work.
I live around Everton Park QLD and will probably be around here for anywhere between 4mths and 12mths ( I dont mind driving a little either) and then moving possibly to wellington pt. I am willing to pay for the rent and or help with cleaning or anyother duties for free sorta like a work experience person if anyone is willing to lend me a small section of their workshop or if they happen to know of some places that can be rented for not a huge amount as I probably wont be selling anything for sometime

I am looking for the same thing in Western Melbourne, I have a small space for hand tools but not enough for a thicknesser and other basic power-tools.
Would be willing to rent space or pay for, resawing, jointing and planing of medium sice and quantity of timber per hourly rate.

Hmmmm tricky business getting someone to share their tools and / or space. I reckon getting together with similarly space challenged individuals in your area might be the go, maybe start or seek a club.
HH.Always look on the bright side...

Kewl thanks guys, this might be the way to go for a while anyways and they offer tuition on the tool operations so that I dare say will come in very handy.
Oh and thanks for that tools review site it has pretty well detailed reviews of the tools which is great!!
But still for those who might have a space please feel free to put your hand up

Ok so now its time to keep this thread ticking over hopefully I might get lucky wit someone who is a very very generous person well I bloody hope so fingers crossed anyways.
I like to be optimistic.
Guys its a big stretch to allow someone to use a portion of their workspace I'm a trady myself so I know what its like just letting someone borrow my tools ......aaarrgghhh!!
So I'm now calling anyone who knows of someone who has a shed or some space of any Kind that they maybe willing to rent out or anything like that. Ideally I would like to pay my way through cleaning or helping out but cash is always a great comodity!!
Please help if you can it'll be much appreciated....

Hey George,
Not sure what you're on about mate you asked what my trade was....
Anyways hope this clears it up for ya
I'm a sparky by trade but I am trying to start some wood working for myself and I need a small amount of space like enough to have a workbench and some small tools so that I can begin doing some wood work. I live in small town house and don't have enough room to do anything......which is a total bugger I finally have myself some wood and no where to work on it.
Hope this helps let me know if you can help me out
cheers george
