Hi everyone sorry for the long post multiple questions and not having very much to go on but I am hoping you can help me.

So I am in the midst of designing a tiny house and I am hoping to have large fold down deck and I would ultimately like the top to be hardwood. I am planning on using a metal frame for support to reduce weight and would like to know the strongest and lightest decking timber available. Keeping in mind that I live in Perth and have a budget although I am willing to compromise on price if I find the right product.

I would also like recommendations on hard wood floors for the inside of the tiny house with weight still being an issue.
Also any recommendations on external side paneling. I want to Shou Sugi Ban ban long horizontal panels. I am after an organic look so would like them quite wide and with a live edge much like these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32WtDb3c3ws but horizontal and attached like shingles. But I am wondering if I am asking to much. Will lightweight wide large panels be too hard to find and will it even be practical to attach them like shingles or might there be to much warping or something else I have not thought of?

Thank you so much for any info I really appreciate any insight!
