Kreg Jnr Jig
Hi All,
Anyone know where I can buy kreg jigs in Sydney other than Carbatec? I'm after a Kreg Jnr Jig but Carbatec only have the K - 4 which is $120 I wouldn't mind just getting the Jnr so if someone can help me out I'd appreciate it heaps.
Thanks
Geoff

Hey mate,
Don't know where to get one in Sydney or much about the jnr, but i got the full sized Kreg jig about a month ago, and it's brilliant. If you are after something to do quick, strong and accurate joinery then it is certainly the way to go.
As i say, i have only used the full sized jig but i was umming and ahhing about which one to get and from what i can tell the jnr looks pretty good for most jobs, and i'm sure the quality will be good as kreg make good stuff!

I bought the portable one on ebay I think. Cost less delivered to my door from the US than buying locally. Search online if your comfortable buying that way.
It's my first preference, no driving and hour, no out-of-stock when I get there, lower prices sometimes by half.

$40. Good price. I've found carbatec ARE cheap for screws though, assuming they have what you want in stock..I'm just a startled bunny in the headlights of life. L.J. Young.

Thanks for the input guys. I can't believe that only Carbatec sell them in Sydney!
If you ask me I don't think Carbatec are that good with their customer service and they don't get back to you in a hurry in my experiences with them.

Depends on who your dealing with. In the Brisbane head office some people are remarkably good and others just awful. I think there are other threads here about it.
That second link I provided MAY charge nothing or heaps for postage. In the end I couldn't figure out the postage.I'm just a startled bunny in the headlights of life. L.J. Young.

Garfield - tip#1: If you ordered the jig from Amazon when you started this thread, you would be taking delivery by tomorrow.
