To make or not to make?
Im considering making a bar ...not hard you reckon? well not so! Im not a designer nor have I ever drawn out much at all just cant seem to get me noggin around that stuff (other than boats that is ) always emds up looking like major chicken scratches over the page so anyways I went lookin for inspiration in the pics pages and after 13 pages of some bloody wonderful woodbutcherin only came up with one bar!!  ... have you lot forgotten the Aussie elbow bendin sessions or what?? ... anyway the one in question was just the carcas.. ideas are there for sure but what Id like are finished pics that I can "see"
My way of woodbutcherin is a sudden inspiration then find the right peices of wood and bung em together one way or the other!!... no drawings no plans just the idea in my head... seems to work for me
So is there a chance you blokes and sheilas can toss me up some pics of your bars? (that IS BAR not Bra Chis! )
Okay ideas so far that have entered my head are... Jarrah boards for the front Sheoak facing rail with a Seppiature top and a Marri foot rail and definantly a Tuart half round turned "finial" thingy on each end... I turned this the other day so its a definant!
So in the spirit of helpin a fellow woodbutcher out... please show your bras... ahem bar!!Believe me there IS life beyond marriage!!! Relax breathe and smile learn to laugh again from the heart so it reaches the eyes!!

There's also this recent one:

Suggest clicking on the forum's search link (see pic), then use the advanced search, put "bar" in the keyword field, choose "search titles only" from the menu underneath the keyword field, then click on "Search Now" at the bottom of the screen. You'll get a whole bunch. Here are some I prepared earlier:

Gawd's sake man, how hard can it be? Think nautical, and think shapes. Just plan from there. A rail, a counter, a frame to support it, a sink behind (and a fridge!). How many pub's have you been in? It can't be too hard to whisker-up a memory on one or two...
