    Hi All,

My ebay auction went far better than I expected, at the moment I am sitting on $1130, with a few items still to sell, that might go close to $1200. I know the fees will take some of that away, so I am probably looking at $1150 or thereabouts. I also won an award at work for $250, so my total budget is now $6850!

As a result I am very interested in potentially getting a different saw than the 10HB, mostly because of all the fairly crappy reviews of the splitter that comes with the 10HB, and because I like the idea of a riving knife and the nicer guard (reminds me of my soon to be departing triton with the dust collection over head)

The only interesting "problem" is that the saws that have the riving knife are also the 12" saws. The first question I guess is can I still use a 10" blade, or if not, how much more expensive are the 12". I assume that there is probably not the variety of 12" that there are for 10" as 10" is much more popular.

I am looking at these two and wondering what you guys think.

    TS-12R 1PH ( $2,995.00)

    MBS-300 ($2,695.00)

I like the look of the MBS300 - but I also know that the TS12 is the big brother of the TS-10L (except right tilt in this case) and that has got great reviews. However I have also seen mention that one of the nice things about the TS-10 is the quick release riving knife, but the TS-12 does not have that!

I like the MBS300 because of the optional extension table and also the overhead guard feature looks like it might be very handy.

For the most expensive (the TS12), it would cost me $6614.50. Which means I might be able to squeeze in the Drill Press. Although I also have my eye on a
