Toolcabinet doors
I am in process of building a wall hanging tool cabinet. Have created a frame with dovetails , cut off half of it to create 2 door frames and then glued 5 mm oak panel into a milled recess in each frame. All in oak dried etc so my worry now is, will the glued in 5 mm panel swell if i change location and bring it into a more humid room, house. I hope i explain this so all undrstand, Cheers

Now that the job is done it will pretty much be a "wait and see" what occurs if you change location, consider sealing it with polyurathane or similar to help reduce any impact a change may have

Truth is it will move whether you change location or not, depending on the size and cut of the timber,
question is how much by?
e.g. if they are only narrow and 1/4 sawn I doubt there will be a problem on the other hand if wide and back sawn??
China is right just have to wait and see.
