    Default torque workcentre accuracy?

    Hello All;

    I'm looking at upgrading some of my workshop and am considering a torque workcentre if only for the versitility per sqr meter factor.

    I'm curious though about the accuracy and the ammount of play in the sliding mechanism, can you put a full sheet of ply down on it and rip it into three peice, without moving the board, and end up with parrallel sides?

    My other question would be does the arm flex at all over the lenght of the cross cut i.e. can you do a long trench and get a consistent depth of cut?

    Pardon if this isn't the right sub-forum for this question )

    Thanks

    Joel

    the short answer is yes you can rip pararell pieces out of full sheet its very accurate
    you can make the arm flex by really leaning on it but you shouldnt be pushing that hard on it
    Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
    bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .
