    Default Townsville Timber Suppliers

    Anyone know the best place in Townsville for timber - after about five 6m lengths of untreated 90x45 construction pine.
    Bunnings only had 90x35 and it was crap anyway - bent to hell.

    Not really.
    When I buy furniture grade pine from Bunning I will go through a stack of 20 or 30 to get the 3 or 4 that I need.
    Over priced firewood is mostly what Bunnings sell.

    So true! Yet they charge pretty much the same as the local Mitre 10 here does, and they sell all select quality.

    Makes one wonder why Bunn......sell what quality they do(n't), there is a lot thrown out at times. To get better quality it has to be a special order and usually a sling at a time. Lot of wood!
