toxic reaction
Hi to all,
been working with timber for many years as a hobby and found that cypress timber when being cut etc gave me a severe headache. lately when using cypress (and using a mask) severe stomach pains develop. has any one else suffered this reaction to cypress?

Cypress makes me sneeze and itch, but that's about it. I'm pretty sure a few others are sensitive to it too.

I haven't had stomach pains from cypress pine but I've just had a doozy of an asthma attack from rosewood. I wore a mask but the remnants on my clothes got me as soon as I went outside and took the mask off!
search the forum on "allergic+reaction" and you'll see how others have suffered and managed.
good luck, fletty
