    Default Transport firm

Wondering if anyone can suggest a good transport firm to ship a Rocking Horse in Australia?
I'm based in Melb and until such time as the horse is sold I've no idea to where it might need to be shipped. I guess a national firm or one who has the ability to ship nation wide is the way to go?

    Any thoughts or suggestions please.

    Cheers

    Hi,

I don't have an answer, however, I am a member of a Facebook group for selling of rocking horses. "Rocking Horse International" Maybe someone on there might have some suggestions.

What make of horse is it?

Interesting that there was a Cess & a Cec Hockley. Here is the contents of a post a grandson put up on Facebook page for Cec's horses.

Cec Hockley The Rocking Horse Man - Home | Facebook

"There seems to be a lot of confusion in the "Rocking Horse World" in regards to Grandfathers (Cec Hockley) horses.
Cec never made or used a metal pipe stand (2nd Photo), all of Cec's horses were made with a timber stand (1st Photo). i have seen ones the same as the 2nd photo on a few different website that reference them as Grandfathers, from what i can find out so far, is that their was a gentleman by the name of Cess Hockley of Cooma - seems coincidental. Cess made rocking horses c1950-70s, and grandfather didn't start making his til the early 70's.
i am finding in hard to get anymore information on Cess from Cooma. If anybody can point me in the right direction or can add more information please send me a message.
    Regards Daniel."
