Trestle table legs
I have been asked (ordered?) by my daughter to make a machine quilting rack. I need a set of trestle table legs for this, the type that are on all the cheap blow moulded plastic trestle tables.
Some years ago I bought a set of these legs from Aldi but I haven't seen them there for some time.
Short of buying a complete testle table and discarding the top, is there anywhere where I can buy these legs only?
Need 2 sets, as I have 2 daughters

Fred
I have made a number of tables and used legs supplied by my kitchen hardware supplier. They are made of light walled RHS and fold down from under the table and are locked in place by a stiff bracket. From memory (cause its been a while) they were around $50 per pair, I think. If you were to google Nover and Company, based in Sydney, at least you would have a picture description to show others.Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

Thanks, I looked up Nover and tried a variety of searches and scrolling through their product list but couldn't find anything resembling trestle legs.
Anyway, these are the type I am looking for
Delta Folding Trestle Table Legs, Strong Powder Coated Steel, Set of Two, New | eBay
but at $60 +$25 freight I may as well go to BUnnies and buy a complete table for $45 and throw away the top.
From memory I paid $20 for the ones from Aldi, which I used on my panel cutting table in the shed, takes a full 2400x1200 panel for breaking down with circular saw prior to cutting on tablesaw.

Searched Bunnings site, exquisite torture! Closest they got was telling me there was nothing matching "trestle leg", would I like to look at "prestige leg" and showed me 4 bedroom cupboards.
And they wonder why Oz retailers can't sell on-line
In contrast, the above Ebay link turned up the correct product with the first search, no wonder people buy more and more "stuff" on Ebay.

Thanks China, I'll give them a ring. One of the daughters lives in Adelaide so could pick it up for me.

Hey Fred,
I have been using Elraco for a number of years.
Hardware for kitchen, furniture, school , Hardware.net.au-Hardware Online
I had a quick look on there site & was unable to find what you are looking for, but on a number of occasions, They have helped me with hardware that they don't normally carry.
I have always found their prices to be very good & there delivery rates are excellent. Worth a try IMO.
SteveThe fact remains, that 97% of all statistics are made up, yet 87% of the population think they are real.
