My Triton never made cuts like this.
After 4 days and many different setups trying to cut 45 degree mitres on my c.i. table saw take a look at that.
Blade is set at 90 to table, timber is square, my mitre fence has practically been screwed to the cast iron table and I can't get a 90 degree cut at the outside end of this mitre cut.
Where did those 4 days go   :eek:woody U.K.

Thats why I used a home made crosscut sled until my recent acquisition of an Incra 2000. Even that takes a while to get exact but once done, at least it stays that way. John, try the sled option, those mitre guages which come with the saws are very basic and not good enough.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

The Record engineer and serviceman called yesterday and hopefully has solved the problem of unsquare cuts.
The blade carrier bearings for the machine were adrift and setup was constantly changing. I thought it was my table top floating.
Got to start preparing timber again for the mark2 version jewellery box and providing cricket is boring I should know the outcome over the next 24 hourswoody U.K.

The new tablesaw setup by the engineer lasted for less than one hour before the blade carriage moved 2mm to the right hand side of the throat.
Result.
The retailer has refunded full cost of equipment and I am having a new model tablesaw delivered in the next 14 days.
The model is the Scheppach 2500 (full monte) don't know if you see this model in OZ?woody U.K.

I'm reckoning on around 30 to 50% inflation due to come in during the near future so cash is going to be worthless again like the 70's????????
