Triton TRA001 Start up issue and Router parts
Hi all,
My TRA001 Triton router has stopped. It fired up OK yesterday, then slowly wound down to a stop. After 5 minutes and retrying start up, it sighed again and slowly wound to a stop. I suspect it could be brushes, as they have not been replaced since new (12 years) Can anyone tell me where I might find brushes and other parts suppliers in Melbourne ( or anywhere else for that matter)?
Regards,
Rob

Timberbits list Triton spare parts but I'm not sure of the extent of their range. I normally buy from toolsparesonline in England.

+1 for toolsparesonline in England great prices and fast delivery. But you should be able to source something simple like brushes locally.

For the brushes, try Heidelberg Industrial Supplies, 1/22 Helen Street, West Heildelberg. Phone 9459-5747
He does not list Triton on his card but he seems to have parts for almost all power tools. He was able to help me with a bearing for B+D drill that is about 20 years old. Very pleasant guy - no affiliation just a happy customer.Tom

Timberbits has brushes for the JOF and MOF models but nothing listed for the TRA. Might be worth a call as the TRA is probably the most popular.
