Mods I have done to my TSC10-HB
The outfeed table is hinged off the rear fence rail with a piano hinge. Melamine surface for less friction and durability. Legs attach in sockets on the underside of the outfeed table and are removed so it can be folded down.
Photos show it all.
Points to note are that if the mitre slot is used then the outfeed table must be in the down position. Suva type guard is not installed.
I have also modified a sliding table off the 12 inch contractors saw to this machine. I have retained the extension table on the saw and fitted a longer aluminium angle fence to the sliding table to compensate. The rail for the sliding table has been attached to the saw via a 75mm lintel.
Again photo will show this better.
Another modification has been to seal the cabinet door and underside of the table top to the cabinet and to install plugs in the tilting mechanism slot so that dust extraction is more effective. I can recommend this as before the mods the inside of the cabinet always had sawdust left in the corners. Now it stays clean as long as I empty the extractor bags occasionally.Cheers,
Rod

Hey, where's my credit for the 'how to turn it on' tip? Bloody favouritism
Just kidding.

I just made one out of a bit of ply. It hangs between the front and rear rails. http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ad.php?t=10924

Dean, do with it as you wish. I was just showing what I had done and feel free to use it or ignore. No credits necessary on your site.

Hi Pete,
I didn't slot the outfeed table as the only attachment I run in the mitre slots is one of those tennoning jigs. The sliding table is far better than a mitre gauge. To answer your question yes it is feasible to slot the outfeed table but I would make it a clearance fit rather than a continuation of the mitre slot.
Hope you are keeping wellCheers,

There is a setup with the Grizzly equivalent saw (Grizzly 1023S table saw) in this shop tour http://www.shoptours.org/shop_tours/...-hatfield.html - scroll down to the tablesaw section - shows a 52 inch fence, Exactor EX26X sliding table, dust extraction connections, zero clearance insert etc.
Also dont know if you caught this post http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...t=16049&page=2 post 22:
"FWIW, Timbecon say they are going to expand considerably their range of table saws. This week they are unpacking/have unpacked a new (and different) 10 inch saw with sliding table and they say they are bringing in a sliding table to fit the 10HB."

Numbat thanks for the links.
I was aware Timbecon were planning to bring in a sliding table for the 10HB again soon but said it might be a few months off yet (at least as selling it as a spearate item).
I'm hoping to review the sliding table at some stage when I can save enough pennies to buy it

Just got my TSC10HB, gee their priddy in orange.
Nearly had a incedent... while lifting it off the back of me traytop one of my lifting straps slipped and severed itself accross one of the very sharp tabletop side edge, lucky it was only 1cm off the tray!(my fault for not using any packers)
Had some fun getting the extention wings lined up, one side needed 4 thickness's of paper to get it plumbed square, other than that it is flawless.....................................................................
