Need something from TSO (shared postage)?
Does anyone need anything from TSO Products? I need a couple of bits to add to my parallel guides, but postage is always huge from them. (US$80 post for $120 worth of bits is not viable). Keen to split it with someone if possible...

Might be an idea to list the links to what you're after from TSO so members can accurately judge the economics of a bulk order (and take into account the re-shipping costs once in OZ).
I just had a look at the Bigfoot, but at $70USD post for a $79US item it's just not worth it unless the shipping comes dramatically down on a total.
cheers, Ian

Total shipping for your Bigfoot plus my guide bits comes to $86 Ian - so it does drop pretty smartly when combined. A third person would make it a viable option. Factor in around $10 per person in AU (again, we'd split the total post cost, including all AU post). I can just about stomach a US$30 post fee.
I'm after 2 x Reversible FlipStop v2.0 Upgrade Kit for TPG Parallel Guide System, and 2 x Guide Rail Adapter for TPG Parallel Guide System.

I'd be keen on getting a Bigfoot (there's actually a fair bit more on my shopping list, but budget won't stretch to cover it all for some time yet). No immediate rush or timeframe on getting it for me, so happy if there's space to slide in and share shipping costs all around. If someone else wants to jump in, I'm happy to sit out as well, I'll then end up combining this with other things down the track a bit

Shipping $92 if Peter (MM) jumps in with another BigFoot - I'd be happy to order with my bits and the two BigFeet, but also happy to get another member or two in - seems that after the initial price hit, postage doesn't increase that much for additional items.
Ian, what level of postage makes a BF viable for you? MM is not far away from me, so I'd probably use it as an excuse to pop around and meet, so no AU post there.

Hi Bern, I'd be keen a Big Foot as well, and if it helps I also have a number of express satchels handy, so I'd be happy to order the lot and then send them out free post to everyone. Would save all the local re-shipping costs for everyone.
I also think, to avoid unhappiness, the best way to work out the obligations would be to calculate the percentage ratio of each persons shipping, and then apply this to the combined total so everyone pays their own share fairly.
I also don't pay the international currency fees Paypal charges on stuff like this if that helps too.
cheers, Ian

I’d be down for a Bigfoot as well if it helps, never seen or heard of it till I saw this thread.
Normally I wouldn’t bother to get one due to combined costs but happy to get one to help drop the overall postage costs.Cheers

I will go a Big Foot as well, if I'm not late to the GB (group buy).

4 Bigfeet + my bits is US$106.75 post, so we're down to around $20ish each, so I'm happy to proceed.
Ian, I don't mind how it's done. I use ING Bank which doesn't charge international fees and has a decent exchange rate, but I don't have a pile of express satchels lying around...
I'll PM everyone interested and we can sort it all out by email so that we stick to the forum rules.

I'm in Bern, if you want to use my address as the shipping I'm happy to re-ship for free to everyone, but happy to go any way you want.
I'm also with ING, they're great for international stuff!
cheers, Ian
