    Default "Turner" brand hardware

Many years ago when I first started woodwork the "Turner" brand was very popular as a supplier of cabinet hardware.

I now need to match some handles that were fitted to cupboard doors some 30 years ago. The handles are Turner H905-S, brass/gold with a black insert stripe.

All of my attempts to source these handles locally (Adelaide) have met with no success. Suppliers claim to know nothing of any products bearing the Turner brand name, (it seems that they have vanished from the face of the earth).

    Can anybody help?

Alternatively if I cannot get an exact match for the Turner handles does anyone know of a cabinet handle that has hole centres at 1.75 inches or a size very near to this.

    Regards

    Default "turner"

Handles made by "TURNER" were discontued after Stanley purchased the company in 1970 or there abouts

Have you tried that big salvage joint at Mile end next to the ice arena?
The fact remains, that 97% of all statistics are made up, yet 87% of the population think they are real.

Turner cabinet hardware finished 30 odd years ago, your only option would be to replace the whole lot with something current so all would then match

    CUTS,
These guys have every immaginable type of cabinet hardware. Their print catalog is almost 300 pages and they imply that they will ship internationally.

Another source for older hardware is Van Dykes.
