Type / Name of Hinge
Hi All,
I have a hinge that needs replacing on my buffet cabinet, but I cannot for the life of me work out the type or name of this particular hinge.
Attached are some photos of the hinge itself.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

I dunno what it's called, but I'm tipping they haven't been made since the 80s and the odds of finding a replacement are slim at best

Looks like part of an old 'Euro hinge', the sort of thing that are sold in packs at Bunnings and other modern hardware suppliers like ElRaco, I think even Ikea sell them. It looks like it is missing the base unit that screws to the side of the cabinet, if it was fitted without that then you may be in for an interesting time. I'd take the old part/s along when you go shopping for a replacement hinge so you can compare the size and any base units - these hinges come in at least 3 different base configurations depending on how you want the door to swing and over lap (or not). The modern ones have a 35mm hole for the round part to go in, so another thing you can measure before setting out.
You may want to browse Lee Valley or Rockler on the 'Net to get an idea of what is available before looking at local sources, who may or may not be cheaper.

Modern Euro hinges will not be a direct replacement without drilling a new hole; they require a 5mm setback from the edge of the door to the edge of the hole.
