Usually called hanger bolts, a search for that should find a convenient place to buy them.

When I first read the query, ‘what are these called’ I knew, but having a senior moment couldn’t for the life of me recall.
On coming back to the post it popped into my head.
Lag screws or more correctly lag bolts.
Theres a few n the stash somewhere.

Elan, the North Americans call them lag bolts & we called them hanger bolts (or was it the other way round? ) but with the advent of the interweb, so many names are coalescing.....

My thought was the coarse thread screwed directly in to timber, the finer thread into a fitting, or a nut. Used in furniture to attach legs or castors.

I am sure I will corrected if wrong.

They’re Lag Screws, or Lag bolts, use them a bit in timber boat building.
