Ungluing Triton glued joint
I have a need to undo a stuff up which is held together with Triton glue (it has been setting for 48 hours and I have just realised that what I did was a stuff up ).
This thread deals with Titebond 2 and indicates that heat will soften that glue enough to enable the joint to be separated.

Does anyone have any idea whether the same applies to Triton's woodglue?
Or does anyone have an alternative?
Cheers

Yep - vinegar - great stuff - good for slow rust removal as well as cleanup of uncured epoxy.

Hey - this is a great tip! I've always used a little water to clean up glue that has squeezed out of joints, but often this has caused me grief with it comes to finishing.
I'm wondering - do any of you use vinegar as a matter of course to clean up excess glue - and does this prevent the finishing problems I refer to?
