i want to clean some timber floors inside a old Queenslander it is hoop pine just has some water stains, im going to use envrio pro floor finish on it, i was wondering how much do i need to clean the floors, after using oxalic acid on it should i just mop it a few times to try to clean any left over acid off it and will the floor finish go over it without a problem? or will the acid affect the timber?

also im going to use puttymate putty on the floors does anyone have an idea on what colour putty would suit these floors?
