ok,
there are moulding planes that can make coves, ogees, beads, and then their are complex planes to make mouldings. Can h and r's make these same mouldings?
I guess i want to see what the h and r's can do. I see a lot of 17th 18th and 19th century antique furniture, and i wonder was this moulding made with a h and r or a complex moulding plane.

Hi Felix
While I have not made any complex moldings with mine (I have a matched half set of cabinetmakers - 50 degree cutting angle), I have used them several times to repair existing, broken moldings. Something a powered router just could not do in a month of Sundays!
