Anyone using Incra Shop Stop (non flip) on a crosscut sled?
I'm making a version of Paul's Timbecon sled design (it's very well thought out!). I like the idea of Incramental indexing racks for the stop block, but I don't want to make my own stop.
I know the Incra shop stops (flip and non-flip) is designed to be used with their extruded aluminium fences, but looking at the design of it, I don't see why I couldn't integrate the stop into my fence made from laminated plywood. I've never seen or used the incra stop, but it looks like it just rides on top and clamps in place with finger screws after registering the position with racks. It seems to have good depth and height adjustment, so probably will work fine with the typical sled fence.
Can any shop stop users set me straight here. Will it work?

Looking at it more, I'm probably better off with a the flip version. I can make make my front fence the same shape as the incra fence, with the racks mounted in a rebate the top. Easy, that size looks more suitable for higher sled fence (12" saw). The stop block is fairly expensive... but probably one of the most used tools in the shop, so whatever.

Do a search on Youtube for home made incremental fence systems. There are some really clever ideas using threaded rod for the incremental part. You just cut a matching nut in half to get your incremental registration.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

It’s a nice idea, but seems more specific to Biesemeyer fence setup on TS. I’m sure I could probably scale this down for a sled, and use M6 rod which has 1mm thread pitch, gluing the half-nuts in the fence, and sticking a piece of rod on the bottom of a stop block… But that’s a fair bit of screwing around, which I’m trying to avoid. I don’t want to iterate 10 versions to get something that works. Rather just buy something I know will work and easy install.
