    Default vaccy bags

    would one of those suck down bags that ya use for clothes work for veneering?
    and what glue do ya use when sticking it down? aquadhere or gel grip?

    opps just read same thing from three weeks ago.

    would putting the peice between two sheet of mdf and clampig work just as well as a vaccy bag?

    If the piece isn't too big you can get good results that way. If possible, try to get clamping pressure on the centre (first) as well as the edges.

    The clothes bags are no good as the vinyl is way to light. its only good for soft material. If you are sandwiching it between MDF just sand or plane your cauls with a convex curve. If its a 600mm caul make sure the difference at the ends is 8-10mm and dont use pine, that way you get great preasure right across the MDF
