A visit from Christos
Had a pleasant surprise the other day when Christos sent me a txt message (a coded, obscure, message on the use of "Gday") that eventualy told me he was in Newcastle for a few days and would like to catch up. After shaking my head and having a chuckle over the txt I made plans with him for a gtg.
He's a legend, he was in Newcastle because Bia was working here, making the money. Christos in mean time is visiting me having pepermint tea and Anzacs with his brother inlaw and chilling out. He is "The Man", we talked tools, sheds, the wood show and had a lot of laughs. All in a days fun. It was great to catch up Christos, see you at the woodshow if not before Keep her working Legend

It was great to be able to catch up you, the old clawy(I know I am in trouble with cutting the hama out)
the intention was to keep the visit short but as you would have it no such thing.
I show the brother in law the web site that all about solid wood and need less to say big surprise from what is created from limited space.

Yes Ray, pepermint tea WITH MILK a tad unusual (thats our Christos). Also surprised him that I had pepermint tea in my shed for the vegitarian (or is that vegitation) tea drinkers. Luckily had some Anzacs my sister had dropped in.
Christos, it's not everyday you visit the centre of the Universe so a short visit was not going to happen and we only usualy see each other once a year so we needed a bit of time for a chat
Oh and I found that copy of AWR (71) with me on the cover. No wonder I didn't see it, it's even too small to be a postage stamp

.
I am following the rule of what is said in the shed remains in the shed. So this means that I am the first person on is forum that knows what CH is making.
O I am feeling dizzy.
Let's tease a little more then. I even helped him move part of it out of the shed as space is premium.
And I should also thank CH for passing a few pen blanks my way.

Ah Christos, you haven't forgotten the shed moto. I think under the circumstances you can post a photo or pass on the next project, then I'll start the thread and post the wip pics.

Mr Christos
Seeing you have been to the Centre of the universe at Mr C.H. Did you see any front row tickets for the next project floating around.
I sent a email off to Santa for Chritmas and not a thing Ive been a good Boy/Grandad (actually picked up a couple of little hammers for themand was going to get them autographed by you know who but no tickets)
So any suggestions?
Regads and Happy New year
Brian
PS I still believe in Santa

Hi CH,
Thanks for the 'Mud in Your Eye WIP' kickoff Christos. Am happily sitting in my chair awaiting the next big WIP from the Universal Studios shed.
Brian, I have a Lifetime Front Row Seat ticket, just for old folk like me. But if you want to sit on my Esky for teh mext WIP that would be fine by me, ya just have to pass over the refreshments on a regular basis and that will be awsome.
See you all next year fellas for some great WIPs from the shed of CLAW HAMMER.
Cheers
Pops

You're such a generous soul Pops. I shall endevour to do my best to make my work in progresses as interesting as possible and hold a fierce pace. I have an art exhibition with Tack Hama around September and a few other things cranking up to entertain you all. Alas the scuba diving will take a back seat again I'm sure. (must get a new dive camera so I can share some bubbles and fish with you too)
Merry Happy New Year
